MOIA Vice-Chair Attends Diploma Thesis Defences at UTA

On 17 April 2026, diploma examinations were held in the field of Architecture. During the examinations, we had the pleasure of hosting Arch. Joanna Mazurkiewicz-Sierzputowska, Vice-Chair of the Masovian Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland.

All the presented diploma projects were of a very high standard, which was reflected in the final grades.

Master of Science in Architecture degrees were awarded to:

MSc Eng. Arch. Sylwia Kulikowska, who presented her thesis entitled:
“Analysis of the Practical Implementation of Healing Environment Principles in Hospital Design, Based on the Design of a Geriatric Hospital with a Care and Treatment Facility in the Wawer District of Warsaw.”
The thesis supervisor was Dr Eng. Arch. Michał Grzymała Kazłowski, Prof. UTA.

MSc Eng. Arch. Julia Bielicka-Concha, who presented her thesis entitled:
“Designing Conference and Relaxation Hotel Zones Based on the Design of a Hotel with a Conference Centre and Wellness Centre in Warsaw, in the Wawer District.”
The thesis supervisor was Dr Habil. Eng. Arch. Janusz Marchwiński, Prof. UTA.

Engineer Architect degrees were awarded to:

Eng. Arch. Nastassia Mitrafanava, who presented her thesis entitled:
“The First Clinic for Homeless Cats. A Public Utility Service Building. Masovian Voivodeship, Czosnów Municipality, Sady Village.”
The thesis supervisor was MSc Eng. Arch. Piotr Gastman.

Eng. Arch. Piotr Rondomański, who presented his thesis entitled:
“Design of the Museum Building of the Women’s Ward of Pawiak Prison on Dzielna Street in Warsaw.”
The thesis supervisor was Dr Eng. Arch. Magdalena Grochulska-Salak, Prof. UTA.

At the request of the Examination Committee, Piotr Rondomański’s diploma thesis received a distinction.
