Both academic teachers and administrative staff may apply for a grant under the Erasmus+ Programme in order to:
teach at a partner university (STA mobility),
combine teaching and training mobility (STA/STT mobility),
participate in training to improve qualifications related to the nature of work at UTA (STT mobilities).
Any UTA employee may apply for the scholarship, regardless of their citizenship. The basis of employment must be an employment contract or a civil-law agreement.
The basis for an employee’s eligibility for mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme is the submission of the following documents to the University Erasmus+ Coordinator by the specified deadline:
in case of STA mobility:
in case of STT mobility:
The assessment and selection of candidates for the mobility is made by the Recruitment Committee consisting of the University and Departmental Erasmus+ Programme Coordinators.
Priority in granting the Erasmus+ scholarship for the STA mobility will be given to academic staff employed on the basis of appointment or employment contract, for whom UTA is the principal place of work. Priority in qualifying for mobility for staff meeting equally high quality criteria will be given to those leaving for the first time. The scholarship cannot be awarded to a person who is on sabbatical leave.
Priority will be given to non-academic staff, e.g. university administration staff, Erasmus+ programme coordinators, librarians, when granting an Erasmus+ scholarship for STT mobilities.
Each candidate applying for a scholarship within the Erasmus+ Programme has the right to appeal against the decision on qualification in writing, within 14 days from the date of drawing up the official list of candidates qualified for the mobility. The Rector of UTA is the appeal authority.
Mobility of UTA employees within the Erasmus+ Programme (STA and STT mobility) is automatically recognised as working time at the University. The completed mobility is taken into account during the periodic evaluation of an employee (academic teacher) and is recognised as an element of the professional development programme leading to the academic or professional promotion.
Partner Universities with which UTA conducts exchanges as part of the Erasmus+ Programme:
For the duration of the stay on STA and STT mobilities, staff members receive a scholarship awarded as part of the Erasmus+ Programme. The grant does not cover all costs connected with the journey and the stay at the partner university / host institution. It is supplementary and is intended to cover additional costs related to the mobility, stay abroad and accommodation.
The period of funding for mobility depends on the amount of funds granted to the University of Technology and Arts in Applied Sciences in Warsaw by the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme.
An employee who has not been granted a scholarship may realise the mobility without the Erasmus+ Programme funding.
The amount of the scholarship depends on the country to which an employee is going. According to the guidelines of the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme, in the academic year 2021/2022, the amount of the daily scholarship is:
Country |
Daily scholarship rate mobilities for no more than 14 days |

To calculate the lump sum for the return journey, the distance of the one-way journey is taken into account. Distance calculator developed by the European Commission and made available on the Erasmus+ website is used to calculate the distance.
For the academic year 2021/2022, the lump sum is:
