Admissions - Step by Step

Candidates from Poland

Complete six steps. You will submit your documents and sign the agreement during one pre-arranged visit.

1

Online Registration

Załóż konto, wybierz kierunek i wypełnij kwestionariusz ATA.

Create an account, choose your degree programme and complete the UTA questionnaire.
2

Schedule an Appointment

Call the Admissions Department in Warsaw or Wrocław and choose a convenient date to submit your documents in person.

Candidates with a scheduled appointment are served first.
3

Fees

Pay the fees to the account indicated in the online admissions system before your appointment and before signing the agreement.

For a traditional bank transfer, enter your full name, address and degree programme name.
4

Submit Your Documents

Bring a complete set of documents to the Admissions Department. Originals are required for inspection and data verification.

You can show the payment confirmation on your phone or send it by email.
5

Signing the Agreement

Sign the agreement on tuition fee payment terms during the same visit.

If you are under 18, come with your legal guardian.
6

Welcome to Our University!

After completing the formalities, you will be entered on the list of students.

If no places are available after payment has been made, the University will refund the fees paid before enrolment.
Do you not have your secondary school leaving certificate yet? For degree programmes without a portfolio or aptitude test, you can register earlier and pay the admissions fee to reserve your place. Final admission takes place after you submit your complete secondary school leaving certificate and the remaining documents.

This rarely happens

What if the degree programme does not open?

This is a rare situation. However, if it does happen, the University will refund the funds paid — simply contact the Admissions Department. You can also choose another related degree programme; we will help you select the best option.

Already Studying at Another University?

If you have completed studies in another degree programme, want to change your programme, resume your studies after a break or start a second degree programme, you can apply for admission with curriculum differences and continue your studies in a higher semester.

  • prześlij podanie do Dziekana z dopiskiem „Różnice programowe” na adres rekrutacja@akademiata.pl
  • dołącz dokument potwierdzający przebieg studiów z liczbą godzin, punktami ECTS i ocenami
  • przygotuj czytelne dokumenty w jednym pliku; oryginały okażesz podczas zapisu na studia
  • decyzja jest podejmowana na podstawie zbieżności efektów uczenia się i zaliczonych przedmiotów
What Do You Gain? You do not pay for the review of your application; you only pay for any curriculum differences and the current tuition fees. You also do not have to repeat courses that match the UTA study programme, which saves you time.
Prepare a list appropriate to your level of study

For Architecture, a portfolio is also required, while for Interior Architecture and Design — a drawing exam.

Before and After Arrival

Visa, residence card, language and insurance.

Before Arrival — Type D Visa

On the basis of a type D visa, you may also travel within the Schengen Area within the limits provided for by visa regulations.

After Arrival — Residence Card

You can apply for a temporary residence permit for the period of your studies. In your application, you will need, among other things, a current certificate confirming the continuation of your studies and proof of tuition fee payment.

The first permit may be issued for a period of up to 15 months, and subsequent permits for the period of study, but no longer than 3 years.

In Polish

For studies conducted in Polish, submit a document confirming your knowledge of Polish at B2 level.

In English

For studies conducted in English, submit a document confirming your knowledge of English at B2 level.

Health Insurance

It is not currently mandatory, but the University recommends protection for the entire academic year — travel insurance before arrival or voluntary NFZ health insurance after arrival.

Recognition of a Certificate Obtained Abroad

Check whether your certificate requires recognition by NAWA or another competent institution. If the recognition procedure is necessary, prepare the documents and translations in accordance with the applicable rules. A positive decision must be submitted by the deadline required by the University.
