Success of Our Students in the WorldSkills Poland Competition! Anna Rusin and Marek Kacprowicz Advance to the National Final

We are proud to announce the success of our students in the prestigious national WorldSkills Poland competition in the Digital Construction / BIM category. During the regional stage, held on 16–17 April 2026 in Kraków, our representatives demonstrated knowledge and skills at the highest level.
Our University’s representatives
Three students took part in the competition, having successfully passed the demanding theoretical qualification stage:

  • Anna Rusin — DAVI student
  • Marek Kacprowicz — DAVIII student
  • Miłosz Żegnalek — DAVI student
The road to success: from theory to practice
The competition began on 9 April with an online qualification test. It assessed advanced knowledge of BIM standards, interdisciplinary coordination, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit software. All three of our students qualified for the regional final in Kraków.
During the two-day final stage on 16–17 April 2026, participants faced complex practical tasks reflecting real-world industry challenges, including:
  1. architectural and structural modelling in Revit based on 2D documentation,
  2. interdisciplinary coordination and effective clash management,
  3. cloud-based collaboration in a CDE environment using Autodesk Construction Cloud,
  4. data management in line with the international ISO 19650 standard and BEP guidelines – the BIM Execution Plan.

Results and the grand final
We are delighted to announce that Anna Rusin won 3rd place, while Marek Kacprowicz placed 5th. Thanks to these outstanding results, both students joined the elite group of the 12 best competitors in Poland and qualified for the national stage.
The national final will take place at the end of November 2026. Victory at this stage means not only prestige, but also the opportunity to represent Poland internationally.
We warmly congratulate Anna, Marek, and Miłosz on their achievements so far and keep our fingers crossed for their continued success in the national final!
