Ambassador of the Philippines at UTA

On 1 December 2025, the University of Technology and Arts in Applied Sciences in Warsaw hosted the Ambassador of the Philippines, Alan L. Deniega. The purpose of the visit was to present the profile of our University, discuss opportunities for international cooperation and initiate talks on the potential recruitment of students from the Philippines.

Also attending the meeting on behalf of the Embassy of the Philippines was the Ambassador’s Assistant, Ma. Chloe O. Silverio. Representing the University were: dr Justyna Kłys, prof. ATA – Vice-Rector; dr inż. Ewelina Pałucka, prof. ATA – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Management; dr inż. Bogdan Gorczyca, prof. ATA – Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Architecture; dr hab. Marcin Paprzycki; and Zuzanna Siwecka – Head of International Recruitment.

During the meeting, we presented the Ambassador with the University educational offer, including key fields of study and their practical nature. The discussion covered the needs and expectations of candidates from the Philippines, as well as opportunities to create academic exchange programmes and joint educational initiatives.

The main projects and partnerships implemented by the University—both national and international—were also discussed, highlighting the University experience in conducting international cooperation.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador also visited one of the groups at the Faculty of Architecture. He had the opportunity to observe the course of classes and see the students’ work in the form of project boards and models, which allowed him to become acquainted with the practical dimension of education at our University.
