BUDDY Programme recruitment for the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026 is now open!
Who is BUDDY?
BUDDY is a mentor for students who come to study at UTA as part of the Erasmus+ Programme from our partner universities. This programme operates both at our university and at our partner institutions. The main goal, especially in the initial days after arrival to Warsaw, is to assist international students in acclimating to their new environment.
The responsibilities of a Buddy mainly include:
- Initiating email contact with the assigned student to get to know each other,
- Arranging the date and place of arrival,
- Airport/train station pickup,
- City orientation,
- Assisting with everyday issues (public transportation, opening a bank account, etc.).
Being a BUDDY is not just about responsibilities; it’s a fantastic opportunity to experience incredible adventures in an international environment!
Why become a BUDDY?
Erasmus+ student mentors have a unique opportunity to make new friendships that can last for years, as well as to take on new challenges and learn about the cultures and customs of other countries. Moreover, it’s an excellent way to enhance language skills!
How to become a BUDDY?
It’s very simple – students who want to become a mentor for Erasmus+ students should send their application to erasmus@akademiata.pl by August, 31, 2025, including:
