Philippine ambassador to ATA

On December 1, 2025, the Academy of Applied Science and Technology in Warsaw hosted the Ambassador of the Philippines, Alan L. Denieg. The purpose of the visit was to present the profile of our University, discuss opportunities for international cooperation and initiate discussions regarding potential recruitment of students from the Philippines.

On the part of the Philippine Embassy, the meeting was also attended by Assistant Ambassador Ma. Chloe O. Silverio. On behalf of the University, the talks were attended by Dr. Justyna Klys, Prof. ATA – Vice Chancellor, Dr. Eng. Ewelina Palucka, Prof. ATA – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Management, Dr. Eng. Bogdan Gorczyca, Prof. ATA – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. Marcin Paprzycki, Zuzanna Siwecka – International Recruitment Manager.

During the meeting, we presented to the Ambassador the Academy’s teaching offerings, including key fields of study and their practical nature. The needs and expectations of candidates from the Philippines were discussed, as well as the possibility of creating academic exchange programs and joint educational initiatives.

They also discussed the most important projects and partnerships implemented by the Academy – both domestic and foreign – highlighting the Academy’s experience in conducting international cooperation.

As part of his visit, the Ambassador also visited one of the groups at the Faculty of Architecture. He had the opportunity to observe the course of classes and see the effects of the students’ work in the form of design boards and mock-ups, which allowed him to get acquainted with the practical dimension of education at our University.
