Admission rules
It’s easy
The drawing exam
A test of artistic aptitude is a prerequisite for admission to the first-cycle (bachelor’s) degree program in Design at ATA.
The test consists of creating a still life study on B2-format paper using pencil (ranging from 2H to B6), graphite, or crayon. Candidates taking the test are asked to bring their own drawing tools. The university will provide the drawing board and paper.
The works will be assessed by the admissions committee based on the candidate’s ability to observe and compose on a flat surface, as well as their sensitivity to space, light, and texture.
After receiving a positive qualification, candidates must submit the following documents to the Rector’s Office:
-
A completed and printed university application form from the online admissions system,
-
A copy of the secondary school leaving certificate or its equivalent obtained outside the Republic of Poland, or another document that qualifies the candidate for university admission,
-
One photograph,
-
A copy of an identity card or another form of identification.
Please note – you may take the aptitude test only once during the admission process for a given academic year.
Document submission is open from May 5, 2025 to September 30, 2025.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
-
A completed and generated university questionnaire from the online recruitment system.
-
The original and a photocopy of the secondary school leaving certificate (original for verification; a certified copy is not a photocopy). The Matura certificate is the most important document required for the enrollment.
-
National ID card (for verification purposes only).
-
One recent and signed photo on a white background, taken from the front, in 3.5 x 4.5 cm format. If in doubt, it’s best to ask a photographer to take a photo with the same parameters as required for an ID card.
-
Proof of payment of the recruitment fees. If you make the payments through your recruitment account, they should be visible in our system. However, it’s best to have proof of payment on hand (you don’t need to print it – sending a file by email or showing it on a mobile device at the Rector’s Office is sufficient).
