Why is it worth it?

FOR WHOM WAS THE SPECIALITY OF RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION CREATED?
This is a continuation of the specialty available in the first-cycle studies of Civil Engineering. It was created to enable students to further develop their knowledge and skills in this field.

PRACTICAL ASPECT OF THE PROFFESION
Under the Building and civil engineering structures specialty (second-cycle studies) you will gain extended knowledge and skills of:

  • design and erection of reinforced concrete, steel, prestressed, brick and wooden structures,
  • issues concerning industrial and underground construction,
  • theory of construction enabling the solution of complex issues of engineering structure mechanics,
  • computer-aided design,
  • the technology of renovation and reinforcement of building structures and modern methods of organisation and management of building processes,
  • design and construction management for general, industrial and civil engineering construction.
