We are pleased to announce the launch of the BUDDY Program for summer semester in the academic year 2024/2025!
Who is BUDDY?
BUDDY is a mentor for students who come to study at UTA as part of the Erasmus+ Program from our partner universities. This program operates both at our university and at our partner institutions. The main goal, especially in the initial days after arrival to Warsaw, is to assist international students in acclimating to their new environment.
The responsibilities of a Buddy mainly include:
- Initiating email contact with the assigned student to get to know each other.
- Arranging the date and place of arrival.
- Airport/train station pickup.
- City orientation.
- Assisting with everyday issues (public transportation, opening a bank account, etc.).
Being a BUDDY is not just about responsibilities; it’s a fantastic opportunity to experience incredible adventures in an international setting!
Why become a BUDDY?
Erasmus+ student mentors have a unique opportunity to forge new friendships that can last for years, as well as to take on new challenges and learn about the cultures and customs of other countries. Moreover, it’s an excellent way to enhance language skills!
How to become a BUDDY?
It’s very simple – students who want to become a mentor for Erasmus+ students should send their application to erasmus@akademiata.pl by November 30, 2024, including:

- Email Address
