Mobility to Azerbaijan

On 20-24 May 2019, Bogdan Gorczyca, PhD, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at UEM visited Azerbaijan Technological University (UTECA) in Ganja (Azerbaijan).

During the visit, which took place as part of the Erasmus+ programme, he gave three lectures for students and junior research and teaching staff at the university on topics within the area of research methodology. Moreover, Mr Gorczyca presented the Polish system of higher education and introduced the functioning of UEM. During numerous meetings, he also discussed issues concerning the functioning of the system of improving the quality of education and active methods of teaching and learning.

The visit was also an opportunity to get acquainted with the impressive modern architecture of the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku. One of the attached photos shows the Heydar Aliyev Centre designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid.
