Second degree studies in Civil Engineering at UEM educate professionals who are prepared to supervise construction works, manage the construction production process and are able to identify and solve problems concerning issues of design and construction.
As a student you will learn the principles of modelling, calculating, designing, and constructing selected buildings and their elements. You will gain knowledge of the production and selection of products used in construction. The knowledge and practical skills gained during the second-cycle studies in Civil Engineering at UEM will allow you to apply for unlimited building qualifications.
During studies at UEM you will use well-equipped laboratories and professional tools – without extra fees.
To be able to start second degree studies in CIVIL ENGINEERING, you should meet the following conditions:
required Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering,
available admission for graduates of related disciplines, in particular, Environmental Engineering or Architecture/Architecture and Urban Planning who have gained competences resulting from the graduation of the first-cycle engineering studies if the lack of learning outcomes can be completed within the framework of the curriculum differences of up to 30 ECTS credits (download application),
designing complex structural systems of general, communication and industrial construction using various technologies,
methods and tools for solving problems of modelling, analysis and design of construction objects, technologies, and organisation of construction works,
the application of advanced computer programs supporting modelling and design processes in the construction industry,
application of technology achievements to solve engineering problems in the construction industry (3D+ models in BIM technology),
planning, implementing, and interpreting the results of the experiments and developing detailed documentation of the results of the experiment,
principles, standards, regulations, and guidelines for the design of construction works and their elements, and rules for creating procedures for the quality management of construction projects.
