This exceptional distinction confirms the high quality of the programme and its key importance for the future of designing urbanised spaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A response to today\u2019s challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In an era of accelerating climate change, rapid urbanisation, and environmental degradation, traditional approaches to design are no longer enough. The loss of natural habitats and the extinction of species place new responsibilities on designers. Biotope Engineering is a programme born out of the need to actively shape living conditions by combining biological knowledge with engineering, technology, and architecture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why is SARP\u2019s patronage so important?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The decision of the Association of Polish Architects to grant its patronage to the programme is a clear signal that the architectural community recognises the need for the profession to evolve.
