Admission to the first-cycle Architecture program is based on a special aptitude assessment, consisting of the evaluation of an applicant’s portfolio. The portfolio should include 5 to 10 original works prepared by the candidate, in a format no smaller than A3, drawn in pencil. The works should include the following:

at least 3 drawings from observation depicting architectural subjects
at least 2 still life drawings composed of simple geometric solids, everyday objects, and fabrics
The applicant must include a statement confirming that all submitted works were created independently and constitute the basis for evaluating their aptitude for the profession. The works will be assessed by the admissions committee with particular attention to the use of perspective, observation of light and shadow, proportions, and detail.

You can upload your works online via the recruitment system (accepted formats: PDF, JPG, TIFF) or submit them in person at the Rector’s Office. Each portfolio must be signed with your full name and date of birth.

Applicants are also required to pay the application fee through ATA’s online recruitment platform via instant bank transfer. If you choose to pay the fee directly to ATA’s bank account, you must send proof of payment to: rekrutacja@akademiata.pl with the subject line “portfolio”.
