Staff Week 2025 at UTA

From July 7 to 11, 2025, the University of Technology and Arts in Applied Sciences in Warsaw organised the International Erasmus+ Staff Week in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The event was attended by thirteen staff members from partner universities in Armenia, the Dominican Republic, Georgia, Kosovo, and Ukraine:

  • Aram Muradyan – academic teacher from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Armenia,
  • Analucila Peralta – In-House Legal Counsel from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
  • Humberto Grullón – academic teacher from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
  • Sheyla De Oleo Fat – administrative employee from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
  • Xiara Paulino – Press and Content Officer from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
  • Mayelisa Hidalgo – Institutional Mobility Analyst from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
  • Tamar Simonia – academic teacher from Caucasus University, Georgia,
  • Kushtrim Cukaj – Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Development from University of Applied Science in Ferizaj, Kosovo,
  • Arben Tërstena – Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure from University of Applied Science in Ferizaj, Kosovo,
  • Olha Kovaliuk – Erasmus+ Program Coordinator from State University „Kyiv Aviation Institute”, Ukraine,
  • Yuliia Krasii – Leading specialist of the Academic Mobility Office from National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute”, Ukraine,
  • Nataliia Marynych – head of the Academic Mobility Programmes Department from Sumy State University, Ukraine,
  • Olesia Pikhalo – academic teacher from National University of Life and Environmental Sciences, Ukraine,

as well as the university authorities and ATA employees. Among them were: Institutional Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator – Vice-Rector Dr. Justyna Kłys, Prof. ATA, Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator – mgr Paulina Wąż, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Management – dr inż. Ewelina Pałucka, Prof. ATA, Vice-Dean for Quality and Development of the Faculty of Architecture – dr inż. Bogdan Gorczyca, Prof. ATA, dr Roch Forowicz – academic teacher, mgr inż. Urszula Kąkol – academic teacher, Kalina Dmitroca – staff member of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Architecture, mgr Ievgeniia Mashukova and mgr Małgorzata Mrukiewicz-Boryna – staff members of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Engineering and Management.

The event program included:

  • presentations of ATA and partner universities,
  • a Polish language crash course,
  • a discussion on cooperation with the socio-economic environment,
  • a visit to Royal Castle,
  • workshops on soft skills conducted by dr inż. Ewelina Pałucka, Prof. ATA, and mgr inż. Urszula Kąkol,
  • presentations on the Erasmus+ Programme projects implemented by ATA.

These meetings were an excellent opportunity for discussion, exchange of experiences, and best practices among participants and partner universities. They also facilitated the establishment of bilateral cooperation between partners. Additionally, participants had the chance to learn about the history and culture of Poland and the countries of the event’s participants, as well as to taste Armenian, Dominican, Georgian, Kosovar, Ukrainian, and of course Polish delicacies during the International coffee break.
