“Design and Build” Workshops – Shelters for Free-Roaming Cats
In May this year, our university hosted the unique PROJECT:MEOW “Design and Build” workshops, aimed at designing and constructing shelters for free-roaming cats.
The design stage took place on May 7 and 10, while the carpentry work was carried out on May 14 and 17 in the woodworking workshop located in the ATA building on Grójecka Street.
The workshops were attended by ATA students who not only wanted to support animals and the local community but also gain valuable skills in design and construction. The sessions were conducted in Polish, with the possibility of support in English, which enabled a wider group of students to participate.
The workshops were led by Karol Szparkowski, MSc Eng. Arch., and Rafał Pamuła, MSc Eng. Arch.
The event partner was Mood for Wood, a company supporting educational and social initiatives related to working with wood.
We sincerely congratulate all participants on their commitment and the excellent results of their work!
