On May 21, UTA hosted a unique lecture on Cyber HUMINT issues, led by Colonel Piotr Krawczyk – former head of the Intelligence Agency, an expert on security, geopolitics and intelligence operations.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn about the role of human beings and interpersonal relationships in cyberspace, and how modern intelligence uses digital tools to acquire and analyze information. The lecture showed that effective cyber operations require not only technology, but also an understanding of human behavior, mechanisms of influence and information operations. It also touched on the history and realities of intelligence activities in Poland before the era of developed digital technologies, pointing out what role direct contacts, information analysis and operational work played at the time.
