Preparatory English Language Course
General information
The course covers the entire academic year and is designed to prepare participants for undertaking university studies.
The curriculum of the course is designed to help participants develop general language skills such as speaking, writing, grammatical accuracy, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension.
The aim of the course is to prepare participants for undertaking university studies, as well as for the ESOL examination at the B2 level.
Before the course begins, we assess each participant’s level of proficiency in English. The test results allow us to place participants into groups according to their actual level of language competence.
Classes are held from Monday to Friday, for 4 to 6 hours per day.
Each language group has classes with several instructors during the day. The English language course instructors are coordinated by a methodological supervisor, who monitors the quality of teaching and the implementation of the planned language programme.
Course participants regularly take progress tests to assess their learning. Upon completion of the course, all participants are required to pass an internal examination. Based on the results obtained and attendance, each participant receives a certificate indicating their level of proficiency in English.
Please note: this certificate is not an international document certifying proficiency in the English language.
The course will commence only if at least 15 participants are enrolled.
