Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence: Impacts and Perspectives for Tertiary-Sector Careers
Description of the programme:
This blended intensive course (BIC) is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and critical understanding of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) and their growing influence on careers in the tertiary sector, particularly in management and accounting. By combining conceptual frameworks with practical reflection and real-work analysis, the course will explore how AI is reshaping organisational processes, job roles, decision-making and professional skills in the service industry. Participants will develop an informed and critical perspective on the opportunities, challenges, constraints and ethical implications of AI in contemporary professional environments.
Online components: 3rd and 10th March 2026 13.00-14.30 CET (4 contact hours + 11 self-study or group work hours)
Physical mobility: 23rd March – 27th of March 2026 (35 contact hours + 20 self-study or individual group work hours)
Final review online session: 7th of April 2026 13.00-14.30 CET
Important Notice: The virtual component is an integral part of every BIP programme. Failure to participate in the virtual component will result in failure to complete the programme!
